Deerfield Beach, Florida
The city of Deerfield Beach is located in Southern Florida in Broward County. Deerfield was incorporated as a town on June 11, 1925 with a population of about 1,300 people. The name was changed to the Town of Deerfield Beach in 1939 when the population had reached 1,800. By 1951, much growth had occurred and the town became a city. It now has a population of 50,020 residents and covers over 12 square miles of land.
