Sunriver, Oregon RelocationSunriver is located in Central Oregon, approx. 12 miles south of Bend and two miles west of US Hwy 97. Sunriver is bordered by the Deschutes River and is surrounded by National Forest land.
Sunriver proper is a planned community consisting of interrelated villages containing single and multi-family residential, resort, commercial and light industrial properties. Since our community is unincorporated, Deschutes County Planning Department handles all zoning issues. The Sunriver Owners Association oversees all development within Sunriver’s planned community except for the privately owned business park. The governmental Sunriver Service District provides fire and police services.
