Bay Harbor Islands is a small suburb of Miami Beach with a population of about 5146 residents. Even though the name would imply that it is an island city it is actually located on the mainland and is in Miami-Dade County. It is a community comprised of fine homes, apartment housing, schools, retail shops, restaurants, municipal facilities and professional businesses. Bay Harbor is centered between Aventura and Miami Beach with only a 20 minute drive to Miami International Airport.
