Lake Mary

Lake Mary dates back to the 19th century, however did not become incorporated until August 7, 1973. Lake Mary started as a village of two tiny settlements called Bent’s Station and Belle Fontain. The city began primarily as a citrus based agricultural community. Due to Disney’s development surge in the early seventies, Lake Mary began to transform into a semi rural community.
