St Cloud

St. Cloud is a city in Osceola County, Florida, United States. The population was 35,183 at the 2010 census. St. Cloud is closely associated with the adjacent city of Kissimmee and its proximity to Orlando area theme parks, including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, and Seaworld.

 

St. Cloud, a midsize, family-oriented city near Orlando, was founded on April 16, 1909, as a retirement community for Civil War Union veterans who paid $50 for five-acre lots. City of St. Cloud was incorporated on January 3, 1911, and St. Cloud’s boundaries have expanded
dramatically since then.
