Tarpon Springs

Tarpon Springs, Florida has a population of  23,657 residents per 2010 census and covers over 22 square kilometers of land. This wonderful city is located in Pinellas County approximately 185 miles from Tallahassee, Florida.

Tarpon Springs was named for the fish found in abundance in nearby waters. But it also is known as the “sponge capital of the world,” and for its 51 miles of waterfront allure.
Visitors can stroll along brick streets down the Historic District, brows in art galleries, antique stores, and specialty shops, including housed dating from the late 1800’s. Tarpon Springs Performing Arts and Cultural Centers offer theater, art and historical exhibits, concerts and other quality programs.
