Bolingbrook

Bolingbrook, Illinois

There are many fine suburbs ringing the great city of Chicago. Bolingbrook is about 30 miles southwest of the city’s lakeshore downtown. One of Bolingbrook’s biggest advantages is that it is at a transportation hub, where two major highways meet: I-55 (the Stevenson Expressway) and I-355 (the North-South Tollway). They make Bolingbrook one of the most accessible suburbs to all the rest of Chicagoland.

Bolingbrook is a young, vibrant community of 64,000, with a brief history dating back to only 1965. Our population is noted for its diversity, and as one of the youngest average populations in the state.

We have a Gold Medal award-winning park district with two recreation centers, two fitness centers, an indoor and outdoor aquatic center, 30+ neighborhood parks, a golf course, hundreds of programs for children, adults and special recreation needs, and a scenic ole’ fishin’ hole and greenway path along the DuPage River.
