Hummelstown

Hummelstown is a quaint burough located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania with a population of  4,523 people per 2010 census. Hummelstown first became a burough in 1874. Some nearby communities include Hershey 2 miles away and Harrisburg which is only 10 miles away, and Camp Hill. This area is steeped full of American history dating back to the fight at Valley Forge and the Civil War and lost many of its men and women to war efforts. Nearby attractions include Hershey Park with its world class amusement park, museums, classical theatre, gardens and the Hershey School. The geography of this region includes rivers, rolling farm land, and the Appalachian Mountains. Scenic vistas, hiking and biking trails, lakes and water sports are all popular outdoor activities.
