Coral Gables, Florida is located just south of Miami. It has a population of about 47,401 people according to the 2012 census.  Coral Gables is about 6 miles away from the Port of Miami, which is recognized as the “Cruise Capital of the World.” It is home to 19 different cruise ships and handles over 3 million passengers each year and home to University of Miami, constructed in 1925 on over 240 acres.
