Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, Florida is located in south Florida on the Atlantic Coast, only a short drive north of Miami. Fort Lauderdale is a paradise of scenic beaches, recreational opportunities including fishing, boating, sailing, golfing, tennis, cultural events and family-oriented activities.

Fort Lauderdale boasts a population of well over 5.5 million people making it one of the largest in the U.S.. Temperatures here are normally mild with frost being very rare, the season of sun lasts almost all year long.

With the exception of eight or so inches of rain per year and the lengthy hurricane season from June till November residents are usually spared adverse weather conditions. Year round ocean breezes keep the heat in check with high temps normally running no higher than 90 degrees.
