Lake Worth

Lake Worth is a city in Palm Beach County. Named from the body of water along its eastern border, origianlly called “lake Worth,” and now generally known as the Lake Worth Lagoon. The lake itself was named for General William J. Worth, who led U.S. forces during the last part of the Second Seminole War.

Nearby cities include Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Loxahatchee, and West Palm Beach, among others. You will find great family fun and activities in Lake Worth, such as public parks, white sandy ocean front beaches, fishing on the pier, kayaking.
