Pace

The Pace Area is situated in northwest Florida, beginning on the west at the banks of the Escambia River and extending almost to Pond Creek on the east.  Pace is the western gateway to Santa Rosa County with thousands of residents living in Pace and more pouring in daily, this unincorporated area within Santa Rosa County is Florida’s most desired places to live.  Pace is named after James G. Pace, who owned large lumber, paper and turpentine productions that operated in the Pace area and throughout the southeast.
