Warner Robins is a city in the US state of Georgia, located in Houston County. It is approximately ten miles south of Macon. Warner Robins is a relatively new city compared to other Georgia cities. March 5, 2008 marked its 65th birthday. The last few decades have been the most exciting. Many people who were here at its conception and participated in its development and growth, are still here to enjoy it today. Robins Air Force Base is located here and both the city and the base are named after Brigadier General Augustine Warner Robins.
