Granger is located in St Joseph County, Indiana only 8.7 miles from South Bend and 79.6 miles from Chicago, Illinois. It has a population of 28,284 people according to the 2000 census. Granger has a steady growth pattern as can be seen in the 40% growth rate it underwent during the 1990’s.
