The City of Findlay is located in northwest Ohio along Interstate 75 approximately 45 miles south of Toledo. Findlay is a medium-sized industrialized urban community with a 1990 census population of 35,703 within the corporate limits, and a Hancock County population of 65,536. The terrain is gently sloping and drains toward the Blanchard River, which flows to Lake Erie.
