Lancaster County

Lancaster County is located in south-central Pennsylvania in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The county population is 519,445. Lancaster County is a farming area. The farmland here is considered to be among the most fertile non-irrigated farmland in the world. Cash value crops include tobacco, soybeans and maize. There are also a large number of dairy and chicken farms as well.

The City of Lancaster is the county seat and is the only incorporated city in Lancaster County. Other communities in Lancaster include 18 boroughs, 41 townships and 28 unincorporated communities some of which include: Lititz, Millersville, Mount Joy, Willow Street, Akron, Denver and many more.
