Montgomery County is located just north of Harris County and just 40 miles north of Houston. It has a population of over 455,746 residents. It is home to the cities of Conroe, Montgomery, The Woodlands, Porter, Shenandoah and Willis as well as many planned communities. It is the 32nd fastest growing county in the U.S. according to recent Census Bureau estimates. Montgomery County is covered with beautiful wooded areas and offers a wide variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, camping and golfing as well as many cultural events.

The per capita income for the county was $24,544.
