The City of Centennial is Colorado’s newest city, located in the southern Denver metropolitan area, entirely within Arapahoe County. It officially became a city on February 7, 2001 and was incorporated on September 12, 2000.
Centennial encompasses 36 square miles. With approximately 104,000 residents and 36,200 households, Centennial is the fourth largest city in the Denver Metro Area. With new growth in the technical field cropping up quickly, Centennial is set to be an economic hot spot in Colorado for many years to come.
