Diversity Home Lending opened their office in 2008, at the height of the mortgage meltdown. The uncertainty during that time made finding certain types of loans difficult at best and impossible at worst. In order to assist the Grants Pass home loan industry, Diversity Home Lending joined about five offices, Evergreen Bank and a number of other local mortgage companies in order to share information with one another and better serve people in Southern Oregon.

With new Federal regulations, It became extremely difficult for the “mom and pops” and smaller mortgage companies to compete, so, in 2014, Jena assisted in leading Diversity Home Lending through a merger with Mountain West Financial, Inc. The merger opened the door to tons of loan programs that were not available to “just a broker”. Now Diversity Home Lending has much more exposure, many more loan programs and terrific support, which helps them offer great service to their clientele.

Diversity Home Lending does renovation loans, commercial and construction loans as well FHA and VA. They just love their community; love their relationships with clients and their title companies. The work may be hard but it is very rewarding. Many of their clients remain friends. This is the advantage of a smaller mortgage company versus the big banks.

She is happily married, has raised two wonderful children and enjoys being a Grandmother of three.
