Ridgeland

Ridgeland is located in Southern South Carolina in Jasper County. It has a population of 4,036 residents. Ridgeland, South Carolina has been called the “Heart of the Lowcountry” for several reasons. It only takes 24 hours to get a marriage license and the Probate Judge will gladly do the honors. Three of the most famous vacation spots on the east coast are located within an arms reach from here. Parris Island Marine Corps Depot is 30 miles away. Hilton Head Island with its awesome beaches and excellent golf courses is only 30 miles to the east. Take a more southerly route and land right into Savannah, Georgia, also only 30 miles away. Other nearby communities include: Laurel Bay, SC (13 miles), Hardeeville, SC (15 miles) and Bluffton, SC (19 miles).
