Carrollton is located in Denton County, Dallas County and Collin County in the state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, the city’s population was 119,097 making it the twenty-third most populous city in the state of Texas. Carrollton is a suburb of Dallas and in 2008, Carrollton was selected as the 15th best small city to live in the United States by Money magazine.
